ABOUT POLKA DOT CYCLING
How Polka Dot Cycling Originated:
Polka Dot Cycling was setup and is run by us, Stuart and Jen Caldicott. We’re passionate about cycling and are real Francophiles. After nearly 40 years combined experience of cycling all over Europe and enjoying mountain experiences, we firmly believe that we offer you a holiday with a difference. Our real life experiences and training will bring you the expertise and guidance that you need to make your own dreams come true; tackle the very same routes your cycling heroes have.
It had been a long held dream to share our love of mountain cycling with other like minded people and now through Polka Dot we are able to do just that. Between us we bring you limitless experience. We bring you all our knowledge of preparation, technical aspects, nutrition, and mental preparation. We personally accompany you on your trip and mentor you every step of the way. And of course we know the best spots for a beer or two!
What our customers have told us:
When we talked to our customers about what they wanted, there were some common themes. They all shared our passion for mountains – the challenge, the scenery, the views, the culture and the pleasure of this experience;
We want to challenge ourselves on the same passes that made our heroes great! We can share their pain, their achievement and their glory. At the end of the day we want to relax with a nice meal, a glass of wine and share our stories with our fellow adventurers. This is our week of the year to taste this excitement and provide us with an experience to remember.
So at Polka Dot Cycling, our aim is to make your holiday one you will always remember and for you to look forward to your next challenge. Our trips are based around the main cols of the Tour, after all, these are the ones we watch our heroes on. We will provide you with the profiles and advice on how to tackle these personal challenges, and we can personalise each day to your level, so you will feel like you achieved what you wanted.

I was fortunate to ride for some top women's teams in the UK as well as riding professionally on a Dutch Cycling Team....
