This Italian trip takes in some of possibly the best cycling country in the world. We start on the beautiful Tyrrhenian coast and finish six day later on the Adriatic coast, across the cycling heartland of Italy. We spend a day climbing in the foothills of Tuscany, 2 days on the Strade Bianche (option to stay on paved roads) around the stunning town of Siena, and three days tackling some of the famous Giro Apennine climbs. 

  • Coast to coast from the Tyrhenean to Adriatic coasts, from Pisa to Rimini, just outside San Marino.
  • Tackle the Strade Bianchi around Siena
  • Climb the famous Giro Apennine climbs - the Courts and Splinter climbs, Alpe di Poti, Monte Nerone, Monte Petrano Montecopiolo and Villggio Lake.

You will have spent a week immersed in the cycling culture of Italy, riding on the roads of the Giro riders, and the Strade Bianche Classic specialists and enjoying some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere in the world. This is a trip to remember.

 As usual at Polka Dot Cycling, we will take care of all the logistics to make this holiday run smoothly, and book you into some great restaurants and hotels for an enjoyable meal in great company and a refreshing night’s sleep, leaving you ready to take on the following day’s challenges!

 Main Features: Stay in the beautiful towns of Viareggio, Siena, Citta di Castello, and Urbino. Strade Bianche roads around Siena and Chianti. Famous Apennine climbs of the last 10 years of the Giro.Various routes from 525km of riding and 9900m of climbing to 708km and 12800m of climbing.
