Unsurprisingly, Lake Annecy, known as little Venice, is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Alps; the stunning clear waters of the lake surrounded by majestic mountain scenery and the quaint cobbled streets, intersected by the narrow canals and bridges of historic Annecy. A great place to absorb the french culture, sitting in a waterside cafe or take a gondola to see the town from another perspective.

Le Birdie Apartments
This Apartment vacation residence was built with the active and outdoors in mind. There's lots to keep all ages busy here. Recently built, all the apartments are modern, furnished in a alpine chalet style, spacious and equipped with all the mod cons. All apartments have a kitchen with cooker, microwave, dishwasher & coffee maker. As well you will find a flat screen TV and WiFi is available throughout.
On site there are two pools, outdoor and indoor as well as tennis courts, a boules pitch and the apartments are located in the heart of the 2 course Giez Golf course. There is also a bread delivery service every day for your convienience.
Located just 5km from the shores of Lake Annecy, the beaches are only a 10min drive away, the village of Giez is a short walk away with the 12th Century castle and there are two large supermarkets only 2km away. Faverges, 10 mins away has some great resturants.
N.B. Self Drive or Car Hire - although very close to Lake Annecy and all the main facilities, a car is essential for this holiday so we reccomend either self driving or hiring a car.
